Interactive Maya calendar. Very much a work in progress.

Current Features:

  • Interactive "Long Count" in the style of the stelae of Quiriguá or Copán. Swipe numerals to change the Long Count date and see how it corresponds to the western calendar.
  • Options for calendar correlation and date format.

Known issues:

  • Due to a bug in Godot Engine, number input may not work on mobile.
  • I have checked the calculations but am not guaranteeing anything at this point.
  • The ISIG is missing its patron!
  • Not optimized in any way.

Coming soon/future ideas:

  • Interactive Tzolk'in/Haab' wheel
  • Educational information (right now it's not very self-explanatory!)
  • Important dates highlighted with information on what happened that day in Maya history.
  • Spanish translation

Feedback and ideas welcome!

Great job for unfinished, i love the stela. You might want to check for color blindness in your finished product, as this seems low-contrast enough to give some people trouble.

Super cool utility, I love it. May I suggest you to make SVG vector files of the glyphs or at least tweak this build to incorporate such because the raster pixels and blurry-ness are a bit distracting? Because I think it does great except for the Spanish-only Correlation explaination note, which would be nice to have in English too.

Anyway, farewell and I am excited to see what is next on that creative profile of yours… ^*^//

Thank you! I should make it clear that all the graphics are placeholders-- if I finish it, the glyphs will be completely redone. It's a very unfinished work in progress but I thought I would throw it up here for feedback.
